”Room was clean, comfortable and had all the basics needed. The ensuite shower room was clean and everything worked as it should. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for easy access to Gatwick, only a five minute bus journey to the North Terminal. There is a good pub, less than ten minutes walk away and a petrol station/convenience store nearby. The price was also very good for a late booking. The only negative was some noise from the room next door as the walls are...

”We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay.”

”For a business overnight stay just ok, not suitable for a couple or long stay, evening meal pub only, I took my own breakfast. Parking is allocated .”

”Nice little B&B close to centre of the village and running trails. Lucie sent the access codes to the front door and room making the check-in a breeze. It was a bit chilly during the first night (central heating off at night), but Lucie provided a portable radiator and extra blanket, so the 2nd night was warm and cosy. Very clean room and comfy bed. Also the breakfast was great. ”

”Great location and Mark and Richard were very welcoming . Mark gave us lots of suggestions of where to eat and places to visit near by. Room very comfortable, great that parking was free across the road in the car park as we were guests. A nice touch. If we come to Littlehampton again would stay here again.”

”Have to check in next door at the pub. Parking permits for the street are available for 24hrs at £10. No hair dryer in the room. Did have fans in the room but they just made noise rather than blow air. TV remote didn't work so we were stuck on one channel with an info box on the screen. The shower has two temperatures, hot and scalding. On arriving back to the hotel at around 11.30 we realised there was some kind of kitchen on the ground floor. The place stank of cheesy potatoes, it was pretty...

”For what you pay it’s extremely decent especially considering it is right on the seafront. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room itself was clean. The only downside is that even with the windows open there was no airflow but nothing can really be done for that. The shared bathroom was a little bit grubby but not bad.”
