Everyone needs an ESCAPE! Welcome to "Mountain" Bungalow, a cozy and comfy getaway living space with a laid-back rustic aesthetic. Park your car and take a short walk down the street and you've arrived in Hot Springs' downtown historic district! And if you're a mountain biking or hiking enthusiast, enjoy what many consider the easiest access to your outdoor fun including the Northwoods Trails which are just .7 mile up the road.

“Mountain” and “Spring” Bungalows are side-by-side in a newly-renovated 1950s duplex structure, and directly next door to the large circa-1900 main house with two more Airbnb bungalow rentals. Mountain is one of four total unique bungalows on the Cedar Street Bungalows property. Mountain is closer to the rear rather than the street-side so it is closer to the off-street shared parking and closer to the Bike Barn – so it is a very private and extremely convenient. Both the Mountain and Spring Bungalow front doors are facing the side, towards the main house across the shared driveway instead of facing the street. Privacy with a view of the tall cliff and trees for shade in the back make Mountain a very quiet spot where relaxation blends with quiet. An adjacent back patio includes a gas grill, picnic table, nestled between the Mountain Bike Barn and Laundry Room – shared amenities available to any guest on the property.

A small front porch includes two outdoor chairs. Just inside your front door is a comfortable living room with sofa, ottoman, and a large flat-screen television. Next is the full-size bathroom and closet area which leads to the bedroom. A small but fully-functional and stocked kitchen is in the back of the bungalow. Each space is divided by walls but there are no interior doors in the layout except for the bathroom door.

Kitchen: Well equipped with refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and fully stocked with cookware, dishware, cups, glasses, and utensils. All linens and towels provided.

Sleeping: One king bed.
Pets are allowed with advanced notice and requires a $50 pet fee for extra cleaning. No more than two pets are allowed at any one time.

General: High-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen Roku TV with Sling TV in the living room, can stream own Netflix/Amazon, and exterior security cameras. The bungalow is heated/cooled by two brand new mini-split units with temperatures controlled by the guests. On-demand gas water heater so you never run out of hot water.

Parking: There is free off-street parking in the driveway very close to your door. This parking is shared with the two Airbnb bungalows on site and provides plenty of room. There is also free parking on the street in front.

Special Amenities: Keys are provided for the Mountain Bike Barn for bike storage. Please message us on the Airbnb portal if this amenity will be accessed. There is also a gas grill and outdoor picnic table on site. Special amenities are free to guests. (Note: the Bike Barn was recently created by demand. It’s functional but still a work in progress as we fix it up!)

Special Service: We offer a “Surprise & Delight” Romance Package for a small fee for arriving guests. Please message us on the Airbnb portal for details. We also can provide you with a personal shopper and driver at your request.

Pets are allowed with advanced notice and requires a $50 pet fee for extra cleaning. No more than two pets are allowed at any one time. Please do not wash your pet in the sink or tub and do not use bath towels to wipe your pet, we will provide towels that can be used. Be sure to leash your pet when outside as we have a leash law and pick up any waste from the yard. We have provided waste bags for your use, if we have to pick it up it will be an additional $25 fee.
