Water’s Edge Hideaway

​We would love to welcome you to Water’s Edge Hideaway. This cozy condominium was created in the hopes of both native Arkansans as well as those visiting from afar to be a place to hideaway and escape the everyday craziness of life. What better place to rest and relax than next to the water’s edge?
​This beautiful retreat features a private bedroom, as well as a second loft bedroom. The open floor concept makes this hideaway cozy, yet spacious with a full size living room, fully equipped kitchen, as well as a spacious dining area to eat and play games (some of which are provided). The décor is light and airy full of trinkets and treasures new and old to add to the lake theme. Additionally, our property features a beautiful patio view of the boardwalk next to the water’s edge making the perfect place to sip on your coffee to watch the early morning sun rise or relax to watch our beautiful southern sunsets.
​If it’s a trip to visit the downtown spas or horse races, a weekend getaway to the lake in the summer or just an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Water’s Edge Hideaway is the place for you! Where to begin?This unit is nestled in between 2 larger condos. The floor plan, however, allows privacy. You have your own special marked parking spot right in front of the door. So easy to unload and pack back up.Very nice and considerate people staying/iiving there.After 8 hours of driving, we walked in and there were snacks and waters.The unit has every single amenity you can think of. 2 coffee pots (one a Keurig).While it is on the small side, it was perfect for us. We are a retired couple. Because of snoring, we utilized both bedrooms.It is most tastefully decorated without being too much.There were plenty of paper products, bath and shower products.The open concept in the kitchen was my favorite. We don't have that at home, so it was nice being able to cook, watch TV and talk to each other all at the same time.OH and the back porch!!! Right on the Lake. We sat out back, grilled out one night, watched the boats and jet skis.It was one of our best stays.

The hosts were EXTREMELY responsive on calls, made the check- in process so smooth and even left snacks and water for us! That was a first and we stay with VRBO properties at least 5 times a year. My ONLY complaint is the HVAC situation doesn't cool the bathroom or main bedroom. We were a little warm in those rooms, but still a very pleasant stay.

This was the coziest spot to get away and relax. My wife and I absolutely loved the cabin. It had direct access to the river. The kitchen was well stocked and accomodating for us and our 2 year old. Very clean.

Such a beautiful place! The view from the back patio was AWESOME. Had everything we needed and then some. Parking was great as there was always a spot for us right in front of the place. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, plenty of amenities. Needs a better air conditioner, i recommend a mini split...the bedroom was too warm even with the door open. No central ac in the place. I would stay again if the price was lower, but not for what I paid this time, over 200 a night. Its right on the river but there is no privacy as it is a duplex style building....quadplex if thats a thing.

Nice spot

We had a great stay here. The condo is in a nice quiet area on the river and not too far from activites nearby. We had a fantastic trip to Garvan Woodland Gardens and enoyed fishing and swimming.

We enjoyed our stay, space worked well for my family. It’s feels a little remote so make sure you get what you need from the store before you settle in for the night. Loved that they had dish ware for little kids, we’ve stayed a few places and haven’t seen that before. Rooms were a little small. AC kept the place nice and cool. My kids grabbed the welcome snack as soon as we got there. So that was appreciated. Place was well stocked.

Very cute

The property was wonderful and well appointed for our family of four. The patio area has a great view to the lake. My family and i had a very busy 4th of July weekend. We did not spend much time in the home during the day. The only draw back for me, was that the home does not cool well. I sleep hot and have hot flashes. The only means to cool the home is the window unit, and ceiling fans. The guest in the loft bedroom said that they felt ok at night, because the unit was near. But the main bedroom was hot the entire time. And taking a hot shower with no air circulating was rough. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and will recommend this condo. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
