”TravelLodge featured a comfortable clean room that is well maintained. The only convenience I missed was there is no coffeemaker in the room as is common many places. BUT... if that is the only comment, this place is really good. I will stay there again if passing through the area, Penny's Diner adjacent to the Hotel is an easy affordable coffee source, Penny's Diner staff were super friendly, cool personalities and classic short order menu that most youngsters in other areas do not get...

”Excellent staff. The room was a bit warm because the sun hits the room all afternoon, but we were out for the day. Maybe bring a small fan for the night to help out the a/c. It was a hot July day and a/c was working overtime. Comfortable bed. No amenities but there is a community pool down the street you can use for a small fee. Breakfast-you might want to eat out but we managed. Eggs and heated vegetables, and you have to look for the breakfast area or you’ll miss it. Okay for an overnight...

”Desk clerk/Manager very helpful &kind. Unfortunately, property is poorly maintained roadside motel. I've stayed at a number of excellent roadside motels...this is the opposite. Ice machine been broken for a while, dirty kitchen closet, marked walls, number of burnt bulbs in the room, acceptabley clean room and linnens.”

”Honestly couldn’t ask for a better place. Quiet place only about 20 minutes from downtown Covington, and within 40 minutes of several outdoor spots. Everything was super clean, everything in the cottage worked well, and the wifi was fast. Perfect spot for a secluded get away but with amenities and privacy you can’t find at a campground. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”

”We (husband and I) really enjoyed our stay here. It really is quiet and private. It was very clean. Easy checkin and communication. Internet speed is very fast. The grill was great. Fire pit was also nice to have. We hope to stay here again. It would be lovely to have a memory foam bed topper available to those who don't like hard beds. : )”

”We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...
