”This is a beautiful property. We had a lovely time enjoying the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. We checked in quickly, but experienced a few disappointments. The valet was quick to assist and the check-in desk went smoothly. Our room, unfortunately, was not up to par. There was hair on the sheets, toilet, floor, tub, and the tub drain was full of hair. ”One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed In over the last 20+ years of frequent travel. First, there is not enough parking in the motel as it appeared many guests are living there. So you have to park in the overflow across the street, not the end of the world but not ideal. Also, upon arrival, we noticed one side of the building was completely caved in from an apparent vehicle ramming and caution taped off. Again, not earth shattering, but not a great aesthetic either. The room itself was ok but...

”Nice property, clean and friendly staff. The mirror in the bathroom was broken on the bottom, but saw no other issues during our stay. Did not take part in breakfast offerings because several items were depleted.”

”The house was very clean and as advertised. The location was great for out weekend plans, the drive to the Homestead and Jefferson pools was not bad at all. We had a great weekend at this house!”

There is an issue with the little ladybug like beetles. Also, there was leftover animal hair on the furniture from a prior guest with a pet. ”Honestly couldn’t ask for a better place. Quiet place only about 20 minutes from downtown Covington, and within 40 minutes of several outdoor spots. Everything was super clean, everything in the cottage worked well, and the wifi was fast. Perfect spot for a secluded get away but with amenities and privacy you can’t find at a campground. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”

”We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...

I went to open one of the blinds and because they were so old it broke. We cut our visit in half and only stayed one night because we could not stay on the property another day.
