”Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ...

”This place is very relaxing. It is completely void of the usual traffic sounds and people from the houses around me. If you want a secluded trip, this is the trip for you. We saw deer everyday, multiple times a day while we were there. We were lucky enough to even see a bear. The creek was my favorite part. I definitely recommend!”

”Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. ”

”We loved this property. Everything was in great condition. Lovely huge screened in porch to look out to the woods. Hot tub was a great addition. We came up to the Safari Zoo, which we do every year. Now we know where we will be staying next year.Only issue for me was that the house is on the second floor, so you have to take stairs, and I have a torn meniscus. But that is a personal issueOverall, amazing choice”
