”Just a heads up for English speaking travelers, that only one peraon who worked there spoke a little English, which is understandable but just an fyi. It made check-in a little difficult. The shower did not really work. I was only there for a day. It is nice for a more rugged kind of place. A little run down, but unique. The people where nice and helpful despite the language barrier. Again, I am not saying the people who live in rual Costa Rica should know how to speak English of course, but...

”The staff was amazingly friendly, the food was wonderful and the only problem was in the steep climb to our room! A staff member took my bag to the room for me so all I had to do was get up there myself (luckily) I am sure younger people would not have a problem.”

”The road was a little challenging but once we drove it once and got to the property it was all worth it. The host Jorge was awesome. He went out of his was to make our stay wonderful and gave is some great recommendations. We enjoy our hike, pool with a slide and hot tub on the property. And they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. What a treat after a long day of travel and exploring CR. We would definitely stay here again.”

”Host was unattenrtve. Minimal to zero amenities. No soaps, no blankets, no paper towels or napkins, only one towel per person for a week, no laundry detergent to even wash own towels. No instructions. Sound didn't work on the tv. No checkout procedures. ”

”Secluded large space, used to be a boutique hotel with now four rooms open/in use. Kids loved roaming around the property with the two horses being the fence and swimming in the pool with the beautiful views of the volcano Older property that fell a bit into disrepair, not the cheapest, but really responsive host who sent out the cleaning crew one more time Really relaxing, with hot springs just 5-10 minute drive away, we really enjoyed!”

”Good stay for family. Convenient location and well maintained gardens. We even saw a sloth on the property! Friendly dogs all over. Gym is very nice, pool as well. Beds and pillows not the most confortable and shower is tricky for hot water (you get not cold but not hot). We had a problem on the first night and the host and his sister on site responded extremely quickly. Would come back”
