”Very big resort with fantastic 3 different pool areas and quiet beach with plenty of sunbeds. Rooms are well maintained and mostly in good shape. We had a problem with our first room because it had strong smell of mold. Staff in the reception was very kind and helpful and they did their very best to find another room for us which was much appreciated as my spouse and I are both allergic to mold. ”Upouusi resortti kaunilla rannalla. Tilava huone kaikilla varusteilla. Minipaari tyhjä. Ympäristössä vähän palveluita, ei edes minimarkettia. Hotellista kuljetuksia Khao Lakin keskustaan, osa ilmaisia. Osa hisseistä rikki kaikki 3 päivää, kun olin siellä. Pääaltaan vesi sameaa, ylimääräiset suodattimet pumppasivat öisin. ”You do not get a room you get a little house with outdoor shower. A big terrace with very comfortably lounge chairs Thai style. Surroundings are green and lush and in the lake you see fish catching insects. The only “noice” are birds singing. The beach is a 10 minute walk where the ThaiLife lunch and dinner place is. They also offer beach chairs and massage. It’s all very reasonably priced. Love the place. ”

”Excellent check in and very accommodating staff. Rooms are basic yet comfortable and clean. Hot water with shower and great sized fridge. There were three really sweet dogs in the surrounding area and I particularly liked how the staff at hotel appeared to be looking out for these strays, said a lot about the staff at the hotel so got big thumbs up from me. There's a selection of items that can be purchased to eat or drink at reasonable cost. Staff member on check on was super helpful...

”there was no restaurant in the hotel. There was no reception either. The pool was dirty and there were broken parasols in the ground. There were only one workers and he did not speak and did not understand English. There were no restaurants in the village and no taxi was able to order because they were not. Besides, there was nobody else in the hotel although the booking services seemed full. The only employee left at 4.00 pm and we were all alone in the entire hotel area. a bit scary ....”

”This place exceeded our expectations by miles. We already had high expectations because we had seen this place 9 months ago when we were in Khao lak. But the owners made this place worth to visit and we will go back that's for sure! They are such a lovely couple, happy and chatty plus super helpful. "This was already our fourth stay at The Sands – and once again, it exceeded our expectations. Our kids absolutely love this hotel, and so do we as adults. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing and fun family holiday. The water park is a hit with the little ones, and the beach is stunning - clean, peaceful, and just steps away. We also appreciate how easy it is to reach the main road with just a short walk, where you’ll find plenty of shops, a 7/11, and great local restaurants. The Sands has truly become one of our favorite places to return to, and we can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommended for families looking for a perfect balance of fun and relaxation!"
