”I would recommend Carla’s place to anyone traveling through the area. Carla her self checked my friend and i in late in the evening. She stayed to make sure our tv worked and told us some cool places near by to check out. The room was perfect for two people just needing a place to stay. Beautiful sunrise view, nice patio to enjoy coffee. Horse shoe and cornhole games in the yard. Refrigerator, coffee, and even a microwave. ”This was a clean, cute little motel out in the middle of nowhere almost, which means nice and quite. The room was clean, beds comfy, and hot water was instant and plentiful. They even have a little breakfast nook with coffee and some simple breakfast items. The staff was super friendly. The only negative I might have is the parking area is gravel and dirt, and when it's wet out, you track that into the room super easily and it's hard to get off your feet with the small mat. ”Was pleasantly suprised by the beauty of this little flat. My brothers and I go hiking every year in the UP! We choose a different area every year and this year, we chose Mt. Arvon, Canyon Falls and the areas of Houghton and Calumet! Loved our stay!”

”We rented both this unit and the unit next to it for 2 families. This made us feel like we were all together. The front entrance does not truly show how nice this facility is as it is somewhat close to M41. However, the inside is great (all new) and the back deck overlooks Lake Superior for an amazing view. Would highly recommend. ”
