”Fairly nice place to stay. New rooms and good location. A modern tv. Unfortunately the room was super hot and the bed a bit too small for 2 adults. Woke up at 7am when someone blowdried her hair. ”

”The Duke of Edinburgh hotel was a gem. I don’t know the history of the building but it’s older; that doesn't mean bad. They have done a great job of renovating the rooms, or at least ours was. It was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our trip. We also had dinner and a breakfast while there and the food at the restaurant/pub was excellent. It’s a short walk from the train station and I would recommend it for your stay.”

”Very clean, modern and well maintained. Good central location. Would stay here again. Recommend ear plugs as the shift work traffic can be noisy.”

”The host cancelled my booking the day before I was due to book in because I use a walking stick and the room was on the middle floor. When I made the booking there was no mention on the booking page about about difficulties I may have. The reason given was not enough room on the expedia page. I was also refused a refund, which I find very disappointing as it was the host who cancelled my booking, not myself. Very disappointed allround.”

”A very old flat, like the others around, quite historical really, which has been modernised to a reasonable standard. All clean plus it had all the equipment needed, even an iron and drying rack. Disadvantage is the steep 20 concrete steps leading up to it.”

”The outside isn't pretty, but don't let that influence you. The room is excellent. It was nice to have cold water in the fridge and a piece of chocolate in the room upon arrival- nice treat, no charge. We found the bed a little hard and the room warm. The staff brought us a fan so sleeping was much better.”
