”Enjoyed 4 nights at The Francis Marion Hotel. Great location, walkable to all downtown attractions and restaurants. The Swamp Fox had a great menu, and it was nice to have a Starbucks on site. Staff was attentive and helpful. We we’re in town for the Cooper River Bridge run. Would definitely stay again!”

”The stay started badly. The room was full of fruit flies. I told the staff about it on my way out to dinner, i was told they would take care of it. Came back to the room after 12 and the flies were still in there. They were surrounding outside of the room door as well. I called customer service and responded immediately. This was arround 1:45am. He came and helpef move us to another room. Around 7am i got up to use the restroom and there was a roach on the bathroom flloor and no hot water for...

”The breakfast was great, something different every day. We stayed for seven days. Also enjoyed the wine and cheese in the afternoon. Our room was on the second floor and we feel that we had two separate encounters with a spirit. The only negative I have is the gal behind the front desk could’ve been more inviting and friendly.”

”Overall, people were friendly and professional. Location is a great plus. However, the room, especially the restroom and furniture needs to be upgraded. this would have a higher rating if the restroom was in better condition. Everything was fairly clean just very outdated.”

”AC worked. Have had better breakfasts at other hotels, it was basic: eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, donuts. No fruit, no healthy offerings. Only received room attendance once, even when asked. We were there 4 nights. Broken furniture, closet door upon arrival. Notified staff immediately. No one ever assisted. Laundry onsite but they had no soap for purchase and did not intend on getting any. Returning with luggade full of dirty cloths. ”
