”Pool was not only closed but there were people in it running jackhammers starting at 8:00 AM. When I asked to be let out of my reservation I was told that I should have seen the word pool crossed out in the hotel description (forget the photo of a full pool). My bathroom sink did not have hot water and the bathroom smelled in general. Wish I had stayed somewhere else.”

”We stayed for four nights in the jungle lodge with ocean view. The lodge and view were excellent. The lodge is rustic but comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, clean bedrooms and bathroom. We got a kick out of the outdoor showers! The staff were helpful and attentive, however, the primary way of communicating is via WhatsApp and the responsiveness and clarity could use improvement. ”The resort is located where jungle meets ocean. It’s more like glamping on steroid. If you are a nature lover like me, you will love every bit of it. My cabin/hut is right at the water line facing the ocean and the back is the jungle and the whole place runs by solar.

”The owners Mandy and JP are amazing people and have built a little piece of paradise for all who wish to visit one of the most beautiful places on earth. The rooms were immaculate, the location outstanding, and they paid attention to every single detail to make sure that we slept well and were comfortable each and every day and night. We will absolutely be going back and encourage anybody interested in visiting Bocas to do the same.”

”Brian and his staff provide an amazing vacation experience! This eco-lodge is very small (5 rooms) which allows them to provide very personalized service. You do not need to plan your activities in advance, Brian will ask you over breakfast "what do you feel like doing today?' and whether you want to snorkel, or go to a nearby beach, take a nature walk in jungle or take a kayak out in bay, the staff will help coordinate everything for you. you can also just hang out on the huge porch and relax...

”The location was excellent and the restaurant was really great. However the highlight of this hotel was the staff. While you don’t typically go to Bocas for “amenities” the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly- especially Janelli. She not only greeted us every time she saw us with a warm and genuine smile, she was crucial in helping us plan our days, made phone calls, walked us places and translated for us. She is truly a gem to this hotel.”
