”A very pleasant short break at Hollins Hall. Staff were excellent and the food in the Grill on the Hill was delicious. The leisure centre was well equipped and very clean. Yes, the hotel is starting to show its age but overall the stay was very enjoyable. ”

”Great building, location and staff. “Executive” room (402) was on 4th floor, lift only goes to 3rd floor. On arrival on 4th floor, no corridor lighting so had to use light on phone to see room number. Room was especially small; same applies to 409, others on floor significantly larger. On escape plan, bathroom was bigger than bedroom. There was a bad smell of drains in corridor and in room. Windows were wide open on arrival. After closing, smell in bathroom became apparent. ”The room was clean and warm. The staff friendly, helpful and courteous. It was a shame that they didn’t have the fire going in the bar as the main bar and breakfast room were rather cold. It was a snowy few February days.”

”The room was pretty cold on arrival, but soon worked out how to get the heating on.Staff were very helpful and managed to sort out my booking, that Expedia failed to notify the hotel, so they were not expecting me.The room was aa bit outdated,and not very soundproof, the 7 lane bypass was very noisy during the night,even with the window closed.”
