”The Mill Hotel is in an excellent position, overlooking the mill pond and adjoining common. There is ample parking nearby and it is just a short walk into the lovely town of Sudbury. There is an attractive restaurant and bar, with feature water wheel, and the food was good. The rooms were well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Due to the historic age of the hotel, there's no lift, which would have caused me problems if my room had been on an upper floor.”

”Not sure how its a 4-star. Anyway, the restaurant was really good, great food (but a bit heavy on cheese and light on mushrooms in the risotto) and wine. Special recognition for Tilly, who was very attentive. The fire alarm went off 12 times in the night, really? The room, No. 17, was way too hot, maybe that's what triggered the alarm? The heated towel rail was on full and I couldn't see how to turn it off. The bathroom extractor fan ran on for ages.”

”Housekeeping are amazing. the room was very wonderful and clean and staff very helpful. had some issues with wifi the first two nights but staff did their best to resolve this and then everything was fine. quiet area but very good location. enjoyed the tea and coffee provided.
