”The lodgings, food and service was fantastic! I felt like I was in a Jane Austin film and loved every second. The room was updated, comfortable and very cozy for the winter. The food at the resturant was the best meal we had in Tassie and would come back again just for that. Staff were friendly and overall a 5 star experience.”

”Very cute cottage to stay in and not far out of town. Only thing that we didn’t love was the single bed next to the stairs both of our kids were too scared to sleep in it.”

”Directions provided don't take you to the cottage. Bed was way too soft. And the roosters at 4am crowing were super annoying. ”

”😀 Das Charles Reuben Estate ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr geräumig mit einem besonderen Flair. Es ist in einer ruhigen Weingegend angesiedelt. 🙁 Wir wollten den BBQ benutzen, dieser war aber derart schmutzig, dass wir unser Stück Fleisch in der Pfanne gebraten haben. Schade dass beim Schlafzimmer kein Badezimmer vorhanden ist, wer ab und zu in der Nacht raus muss hat nicht gerade Freude die Treppen hinunter und wieder hinauf.”

”We recently stayed at a property that had some promising features, but unfortunately, the condition of the rooms was not up to par. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the house had not been cleaned. The most unsettling discovery was the presence of spiders throughout the entire house. This made for a very uncomfortable experience, as we had to spend our first night dealing with and eliminating them. While the property itself had potential, the lack of cleanliness and the spider...

”This property is very basic. Some good additions would be a toilet roll holder, dish drainer and a serving bowel. It is a great summer stay but is not suited to a winter stay. It only has one heater in the living room and tiny fan heaters in the bedrooms. We had to buy hot water bottles and were lent a second large heater. Convenience wise it is between Hobart and the airport, within a 10 minute drive.”

”Would highly recommend this property especially if you have a small dog travelling with you. Excellent location, lovely spacious grounds, quiet and peaceful. Friendly hosts & lovely clean apartment with some thoughtful extras supplied. Hope to come back again.”

”Lovely hosts, both Kim and Sharon, this was the best part of the stay. We had the cabin with 2 bedrooms which are great for our family of 4. We fed the farm animals once during our 2 day stay which was lovely. Nice fresh bread for breakfast was such a nice touch.”
