”Basic hotel. Clean, nice spacious room. Bathroom needs renovation. Taps, sink, toilet etc. Room was nice with wooden walls. Great bed. Restaurant okay. Food and service excellent, atmosphere not so much. Parking was easy. Location is nowhere, so be prepared for that. You get what you pay for.”

”Very tasty taditional English Breakfast, but also fruit & croissants available. Coffee machine including hot chocolate, several choices of tea.
I really liked the perks offered for not needing cleaning every day! Surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Plenty of free parking, which is needed for this kind of location.
Friday night wedding kept me awake a bit, which was expected, what I did not expect was a party (assuming only on one room near to us) on a Monday night... Otherwise very...

”Tried to arrange everything in advance for a stay with my mum, who has mobility issues. Staff were very accomodating, however, everything was a little further away than they made it out to be. Which did cause some issues. Fine if you are a wheelchair user, but my mum uses crutches to get around. It was not that easy for her.
Rooms are very basic, for the price and the attraction of "Horwood House". Be careful, the beds are on wheels, which surprised my mum, as she almost fell off. They are also...

”This was my second and last time in this hotel. The first room didn’t have hot water and after the reception gave me another room, the bathtub plug didn’t work. When asking for someone to help with the bathtub plug, the reception registered the request, however no one ever came to see the issue. Having purchased the room in this hotel specifically because of bathtub access, I unfortunately did not get the value I expected. ”

”We had booked a basic room as only there for 1 night but told on arrival there was no lift in that part of the building so we had to pay to upgrade so my husband could access a room. The room was dusty. The bed was ok but we've had better and the shower was over the bath which again made it very difficult for my husband. Definitely wouldn't use this hotel aga.i”

”Lovely grounds and excellent staff. The deluxe room was nice. It was tired, it would benfit from a fixutres and fitting refresh. We were comfortable and I wouldn't let this stop me booking again.
