”Did not use laundry. Just beginning to learn about Hickory after recent house purchase. Rooms were very clean. Only complaint was the lack of hot water for a shower. All other amenities were intact. Staff was pleasant and there was actually hot breakfast at 8 AM. Kitchen staff was very attentive. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. ”

”The staff was pleasant, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was larger than we expected. The breakfast was great both mornings, as was the coffee! Very clean! Will stay here again when in the area!”

”Pretty comfortable stay. First of all, this hotel had the best breakfast ive had at any hotel!! Home cooked breakfast every morning!!! Not the usual hotel breakfast!! The 2 ladies working in the kitchen area are the nicest people you ever gonna meet. The hotel it self was great. Very quiet. I had a 3 night stay and i heard nothing at all. Room was nice. Bathroom could use some updating. Plenty of food options nearby. Staff at the desk was great as well. I would definitely stay here again.”

”Bistro breakfast was excellent!! The staff waa friendly, knowledgeable and gave great service!! Check in/front desk staff was accommodating and worked thru a check in issue together. The bed/mattress was not comfortable at all my back and neck still hurt. It was hard and that is my only complaint. Other than that I really enjoyed our stay! ”

”Good communication in advance. Cabin is steps away from the Linville River. Large field near cabin great for frisbee or playing catch with baseball gloves. About 15 minutes from a decent-sized grocery store.”
