”This is a beautiful place to stay and very relaxing. We were busy with outside activities so didn’t get to enjoy the pool like we would have liked. They have a washer and drier on site for guests to use free of charge and after traveling around the country for 2 weeks before arriving this was handy. ”

”Totally warm-hearted family who makes you feel at home instantly. We would come here again just for a nice chat and dinner with Heyner and Jenny. So happy we decided to stay at this place – and we ended up staying two nights instead of one! Great place, great cooking, clean accomodation. This place is full of love and friendliness. ”Petit lodge très propre situé dans un environnement exceptionnel. Le service était très attentionné et le propriétaire disponible pour tout. La piscine était géniale pour se rafraîchir le soir. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et le personnel gentil. ce fut un séjour parfait. De plus, la chambre est très bien équipée. ”We loved this property! Beautiful view and house; Sonya was incredibly helpful and there was everything you could imagine to make our stay enjoyable. The drive up from town is not easy and there were power and water outages during a storm but as we understand thats common in the jungle. We would definitely go back!”

”We LOVED this hotel. It's beautiful, has great food, check in was easy - but the service really made our stay great. They went above and beyond to take care of us, and the manager Rebeca was responsive (all hours!) to ensure this was the case. So highly recommended!”

”Exactly as advertised. We stayed in an AC room with 2 double beds and a large sliding glass door that opened to a little balcony. Lots of singing birds. Great value. The breakfast, served next door to the hotel for $8 per person, was truly excellent. ”

”Ellie was a wonderful host, she made sure we were comfortable and runs a beautiful hotel in paradise. Our family stayed in the cabanas which were private and perfectly appointed. It was amazing to sip coffee on the balcony and see a flock of scarlet macaws!”

”I loved this property!!! It was private and well cared for. It was a beautifully designed, well thought out space. Loved the sunrises in the morning and the bird chatter all day! Private pool was so gorgeous. Had everything I needed. Owners were very accommodating. You DO need a 4 wheel drive for the drive way but once you figure it out it is easy. Will be back!!!!!”

Only issue to raise was with the gated security access which hopefully can be resolved for future guests by the estate management team… Despite this issue I would go back and recommend this villa without hesitation.”

”The home was just as described. Steve is a great guy and very knowledgable and helpful. His trees and gardens are beautiful and edible fruits are a bonus. There is a store and bus stop just steps away. Very convenient. Stayed 3 weeks,lived like ticas and we hope to see our friend again next trip.”

”Our overall impression: cute property, older but well kept. A few things were worth noting. 1. The road noise can be bothersome at night considering there is no air conditioner so there is no way to shut out traffic noise. 2. very hard mattresses and pillows. We slept on camping gear we put on top of the mattress to make it a bit more comfortable. 3. Impossible to regulate the cold/hot water-it is an extreme of either one. 3. The rooster next door seems to have not gotten the message about...
