”We went on a 2 week family surf trip, the house and our host Brais and G were amazing!!! Beds super comfy, ping pong table was a huge hit, extra large kitchen, where our host bake fresh bread for us, the grounds are lush and relaxing, highly recommend this listing!!”

”We stayed here the end of February 2023 (we just realized we forgot to let a review. Sorry about that.) We love this place and this area more every time we come here and this was our third stay. We love the addition of the new outdoor shower. Every day there were so many macaws out by beach. A sloth was also hanging out close by. There are alot of different birds too.”

”We had a great stay at this well set up condo with outdoor patio. Comfortable bed and sitting area and basic kitchen supplies but adequate. The property manager was available when needed and gave us space when not which was nice! Short walk to the beach for a dip. The owner was lovely and communicative when needed. Would happily stay again!”

”Eine sehr schöne Lodge inmitten der Natur. Nur mit dem Boot erreichbar. Hatten hier als einzige der Unterkünfte in CR das Gefühl, dass Ausflüge sehr gepuscht werden und recht hochpreisig sind. Viele Delfine im Golfo Dulce… hatten diese mit dem Feldstecher vom Steg aus beobachtet. Rückblickend hätten wir anstelle der Rivertour die Delfintour gebucht - wollten aber zum Schluss unsere Reise nur noch geniessen und dies konnten wir hier bestens.”

”Playa Cativo Lodge is a wonderful place and the accommodations, food and staff were absolutely perfect. It was nice to be so close to the gulf which was calm, warm, sandy and perfect for swimming. My only complaint was that the entire front area of the lodge has been landscaped with grass and ornamental plants, many of which are not native. Because of this large open area few birds or animals come near the lodge. Bird watching was disappointing compared to lodges that have left the rainforest...

”The staff are the most friendly people, and you can see all sorts of incredible wild life right from the restaurant and patio. We saw hawks, pelicans, turtles, a crocodile! We missed dolphins one morning apparently but yeah, it was absolute paradise and the staff were the best part. ”

”Das Hotel liegt oberhalb von Neily. Es hat einen ganz besonderen Charakter, denn es könnte auch ein Parkplatz sein. Die Zimmer sind groß und man kann von der Terrasse auf die Stadt schauen. Es ist dort ein wenig einsam, aber die Bar und das Essen entschädigen. Offensichtlich gehen dort viele Leute Essen. Das Frühstück war inkludiert, aber den Kaffee und den obligatorischen Saft musste extra bezahlt werden. Trotzdem Dauem hoch - für eine Nacht perfekt. P.S. es gibt eine E- Ladesäule”
