”Five stars all the way. Villas Rio Mar has an amazing location — close to Dominical but outside the hustle, peaceful and relaxing. Just minutes from the beach, with a beautiful river nearby. The property is gorgeous, the pools are great, the rooms are beautiful, and everything was clean and well maintained. The restaurant was fantastic and the service was excellent. Incredible value — highly recommend.”

”The friendly atmosphere and attentive staff, whether excursions or sunset drinks were perfect. Sitting in the forest enjoying the wildlife whilst eating such wonderful food was a joy. The room was clean and well cared for with a view and relaxed atmosphere true to the hotels name. ”

”This lovely hotel, in the tiny, unpretentious village of Drake Bay, was wonderful. I am an amateur wildlife photographer. The manager gave me Room 1, with an enormous window that looks out onto a guarumo tree. In this tree arrived, in turn, a toucan, a pair of aracaris, tanagers, tityrus, caracaras, golden-naped woodpeckers, multiple iguanas, hummingbirds - it was simply incredible.
