”The roof of our room on the "tower" side moldy and when it started raining the roof leaked all over my stuff. The receptionist took a 5 $ deposit for the keys but when we checked out she didn't return it not even when we asked for it. The male staff were very nice but this woman was not cooperative.
The main side was comfy and nice and the restaurant offered cheap and tasty traditional meals, also the breakfast was superb.”

”The property is very close to the volcano El Arenal, has beautiful views and the staff is great. It is somewhat rustic, but very clean. There is food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The thermal baths are rustic, but very natural and there are three different temperatures. You are close to town, but not walkable. They have tours that will pick you up and the is an Avis car rental place with excellent service. It is best to fly from San José and rent the car in town. Will save you...

”Staff at the front desk were really helpful! Hotel was a bit dingy,and for example towels looked pretty dirty. But if u only sleep and take a shower at the hotel,this suits you well! Location was excellent! Rooms were really noisy :/”
