”The hotel is very modern and clean. My suite was very large and the surroundings are lovely. Staff is very friendly and the guard pointed me some animals hidden in the garden. Like a sloth having a nap in bar stool. Pool is nice but not for swimming. It's not deep enough. Lots of it is kids pool or ankle deep sitting water. Big pool all in all but for sitting, not swimming. Bring earplugs to sleep with because of the howler monkeys. They truly are loud and start at 5am. You hear them more at...

The location was so beautiful - we saw so much wildlife and loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and waking up with the birds and monkeys. I love that it was removed from the fast pace of the road and beaches, but close enough to spend the day out and about. ”

”I found a great spot to hang out in Puerto Viejo, and it's super close to all the action. The staff there was fantastic, always friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which is always a huge plus in my book. Plus, the pool was the perfect place to chill out and unwind after a day of exploring. ”

A little confusing on how to enter (suggest arriving in daylight). Expedia did act like breakfast was included which it was not so I would keep that in mind!”
