Cantón Talamanca – Loma-asunnot

"The hotel is very modern and clean. My suite was very large and the surroundings are lovely. Staff is very friendly and the guard pointed me some animals hidden in the garden. Like a sloth having a nap in bar stool. Pool is nice but not for swimming. It's not deep enough. Lots of it is kids pool or ankle deep sitting water. Big pool all in all but for sitting, not swimming. Bring earplugs to sleep with because of the howler monkeys. They truly are loud and start at 5am. You hear them more at pool bungalows and can sometimes spot them far away. You can also see sloths at the River, I had better luck at evening spotting them drinking and climbing. There is a small store accross the street but for most things you need a car or a bike ride. The beach is few min walk away and is nice and rustic. Lot's of driftwood which is cool. The Instagram worthy palm tree beach is 10-15 min walk away on the other side of the hill with the sea cave. Definately worth checking out. "
