”Absolutely beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean and lovely grounds. We had dinner at the restaurant where service was exceptional and food was great. Breakfast lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. We informed the hotel it was our wedding anniversary and they provided sweet treats in the room which was really thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. ”

”Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. ”

"Very city centre. Parking area behing the hotel, little tricky to find but plenty of room. We are always looking for original retro accommodations and this is it. Hotel itself is attraction. Definitely coming back on our next trip!"
