”The AmericInn was not a great place to stay. Our room looked as though it was still in a renovation process that had not been completed. Our room literally had blue painter's tape connecting a new piece of carpeting to an old one along with chunks of trim and other aspects that felt like we were staying in a room stuck between the old room and whatever the renovated room was supposed to look like. This hotel was cheap so I guess it was a bed to crash on but was not a place I would choose to stay...

This is the room in front furthest left has a very strange smell, cobwebs on ceiling. Almost $90 on a weekday. We just went to sleep and left before 9 so never dealt with any management. ”Property was exactly has advertised. Great location for those looking for secluded place to stay. Owner was very responsive! Check in was a breeze!!Cabin has large area for parking large boat. Great trail system for walking and kayaks right on river.”

”This place was absolutely delightful! The host has thought through every detail of making a stay cozy, comfortable, and just like home. We stayed here for a ‘girls getaway’ to enjoy the outdoors during prime leaf peeping season! To be tucked in the woods with the fall colors and close proximity to all trails in Jay Cooke state park made this a perfect stay!”

”We had a good weekend at this property overall. The proximity to the campground's bathhouse was really nice. Honestly, we mostly just walked over to the bathhouse for bathing and bathroom needs (I think one family member did shower in the RV). We had some small issues (this is an older model, we wouldn't expect perfection by any stretch) and the host was very responsive by text. We had never stayed in an RV before, it was a pleasant weekend for sure. ”

”An older camper in a campground of friendly people near a beautiful lake. Apparently there was a communication problem with the groundskeeper regarding the date we would arrive, so our camper wasn't ready when we got there (no hot water or electricity) but it was promptly handled by a phone call. It was fun to stay here!”
