”We loved staying at this historical home away from home. The house is full of nice touches and antique furniture, large rooms and beautifully staged. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the rural get away from it all location, yet is just 90 minutes from Lexington. Gwen was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Very much a caring host. ”

”My family and I enjoyed our stay. Wish it wasn’t located on a busy road, we are used to a country setting and the traffic took some getting used to. The pool was nice and the owners were great.”

”This property is well maintained and enjoyable. Separate heat/AC unit for living room and master bedroom allows for comfortable climate control. The view is beautiful and the property is exactly as pictured. The Wifi was strong and consistant. We highly recommend this property.”

”The property was pet-friendly, and even had some toys for the dogs to play with. It was very neat and well laid out for the size, which made it very comfortable. We did use the grill once, which was a nice option. It could use another chair on the back deck, but I understand space is limited. I tried contacting the host directly to confirm a couple of things, but we were able to figure out what we needed to get in and situated. It was off the main path, but not too far, which we enjoyed.
