”We were competing in a regional B.A.S.S. tournament on the James River and the house was in a very convenient location to Osborne ramp and park. The house was as advertised, and the communication with the host was exceptional! ”

”This was a great stay! Very clean, host was very nice and accommodating. Best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back! ”

”Very spacious and comfortable home. So close to many historic sites that we enjoyed daily. Large yard for the kids to run around and much privacy. The managers were very prompt with all communication. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Loved the stay. ”

”We needed a space to sleep 10 and this house did. It is very spacious, we all had our own private space. I also needed space to do some baking for my son's wedding and this house provided 2 spaces to bake! It worked out very well for me. It was really convenient to have 2 ovens and 2 refrigerators to use. There are a couple of suggestions for the kitchens, add kitchen towels and also pot holders. Those items would have been nice to have. The basement was a dream for kids with the various games...

”The proper tea was well furnished and easy to find. There was lots of things to do on the property and it was located 30 minutes from Busch Gardens. We had a great time.”

”Loved every minute vacationing at the Guest House "Holly Hill" in Charles City, VA! The Saltwater Pool was extremely luxurious and relaxing! Even though we had quite a few days of rain, the sun still came out long enough for us to swim in the pool! The two new managers Justin and Charles were very nice and helpful. This was their first year managing the property and they did an excellent job! Was sad that Steve Rula, Jr has retired and we missed not seeing his smiling face! Wish Steve the best...

”This is my second time staying at this property and both times we had a great experience. While the decor in the units is a bit outdated, they are spacious, clean and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. They amenities and common areas (pool, playground, tennis courts) are all accessible and clean. Very family friendly and close to everything! ”

”This is by far the nicest hotel complex I’ve ever stayed in. Incredible beds, fabulous shower, gorgeous room, and wonderful staff. I will be back, next time for more than one night.”

”The room we were given had a smoke smell but we we soon given another room that was fine. Everything worked well. Breakfast ok -- except for the all-too-common plastic cutlery and plates -- not ecological. ”

”Staff was super nice and friendly. Our was a little beat up looking. There was brown smudge up high on the walls above the beds plus therr was somewhere underneath one the beds was no going to attempt to figure it out. ”

”The activity room and pool was my childrens favorite part. I loved the gym. The room needs an update and better cleaning. I was told on the second day that we weren’t supposed to be in that room. Overall, we had a good time. ”
