”We loved a one night stay at Riverside cottages. We were there for a graduation from college of Charleston. And our whole family had a beach house at Folly Beach so we decided to just rent one of the bedrooms in the cottages. It was very pleasant. Everything was clean a good night sleep. ”Right on the water. Good places to eat within walking distance. Pleasant staff! Bring your own beach chairs if you can so you don't have to rent them. Do the same with alcohol so you can reduce that budget as well! Clean, great place to relax!!!”

”Attitude was a real deal breaker for us. After arriving to our room we discovered the lights were out for 3/4 of the room - particularly troublesome for the bathroom. Went to front desk and waited about 20 min for someone to come and check out what we assumed to be a fuse issue. Another 20 min and problem is not resolved. Go to the desk to get an update and Miss Attitude is very sassy despite the patience and respect we afforded her. We had been on the beach all day and wanted to shower and head...

”We had an excellent stay at Water’s Edge. The B&B was well kept, the breakfast was great, and the location is unbeatable! Unfortunately the hot tub now closes at 9pm and we didn’t get a chance to use it but it looked like a great set up. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are steep stairs to access the B&B and more stairs to access the rooms.”

”If you get a room at Sweetgrass Inn with a water view, be prepared to hear children screaming in the pool below all day long. They are not just screams of delight - there are lots of screams of distress.
The service and food at the Oystercatcher in the hotel were just mediocre- too bad they don’t raise the quality there. Overall we had fun but there is a lot of room for improvement.”
