”Stayed one night and enjoyed it very much. The room was nice and clean and very functional. We enjoyed a light meal in the evening and the breakfast was well presented. We thought it very good value.”

”The room was lovely though the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the neighbours TV. The floors of the upstairs rooms were a bit squeaky but it was a fairly rustic building so to be expected. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The kitchens were out of order but they provided a superb continental breakfast.”

”Stayed here for 2 nights recently. House actually looked better than the photos. Lots of space with plenty of towels / cutlery / glasses / plates etc. lovely quiet street within walking distance of Loughborough. would 100% stay here again. I have removed one star as the thermostat on the shower could do with being checked. Unfortunately the only temperate was scalding hot which made it difficult to shower but I’m sure that’s an easy fix for the host. Thanks so much for the stay!”

Hyvä aamiainen vaikka ei ollut kuin osittain buffet (murot, leivät, hedelmät). Huoneissa ja käytävillä kokolattiamatto.”

”I liked the central location in the heart of Loughborough.Staff was very friendly and helpfull.Breakfast was not included in the roomprice but was easy to buy when needed.The place is old and partly repeared.I liked the old style(like in brittish movies), if you like modern fancy style it s better go somewhere else.The price was good.Little minus was that windows were not cleaned outside (a lot of birds making mess,), but room itself was very clean.”

”This stay corrosponded with a 50th birthday we were invited to, and chose this accomodation as it was fairly close! We arrived, and no one answered the door, I then phoned, a very polite helpful gentleman let us in, and apologised profusely for not hearing the bell. I was upset at first, that my sister was on the ground floor, and I was on the top floor, but the gentleman carried up my case, I am 67 my sister 75! However both rooms were in very good condition extremely clean, and as I said to...

”Fabulous little place, in an idyllic location. Whilst the accommodation is basic, it is charming and has everything you need....including kitchen and bathroom facilities. The addition of horses, pigs, and chickens and ducks on site was a bonus, and being greeted by the farm dogs every day was lovely. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating (we had to change our dates at the last moment) and are really friendly. Definitely looking forward to staying again.”
