”Not really a luxury accommodation, but very good quality place to stay. Close to vineyards, golf courses and other attractions. Abdolutely beautiful view over Hunter Valley, old buildings create a pleasant athmosphere. No outdoor pool, but indoor pool in spa premises is a big one. Sauna is way too mild and not in good shape. We really loved our time here althought it's a bit pricey.”

”The Lane Retreat is an incredible experience, and has become our go-to stay in the Hunter Valley. It's incredibly peaceful, with gorgeous views over the vineyard. Easy to find, and well located within a short drive of many restaurants and wineries. Thoroughly recommend!”

”Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The room was very clean and newly renovated. Very friendly staff, great location! One thing to note.. the room I was staying in was facing the main road so there were traffic/tram noises throughout the day and night.. however the noise isn’t as loud once the balcony door is shut.”

Paid for extras silk rose petals, bottle of wine and cheese platter on arrival just beautiful. Ordered a picnic lunch, came with a picnic blanket as well, so filling! Comfortable bed and parking right out the front of the ground floor room, a bonus.
