”I like that they updated the rooms but at the cost of the customers. They used to have fresh coffee now they have a machine and it's terrible. I didn't like how the staff sat in front outside and smoked cigarettes.”

”The outside of the building was pretty old, but the room and lobby looked new. The staff was wonderful and I had accidentally left some items int he room. They called us shortly after weleft and let me nkow so we weren't too far and could turn around. The sink in our room wouldn't drain, and when we were checking out we let them know. They were really on top of it with maintenance which is how he found my things I had left behind. We truly appreciate the honesty and the friendliness.”

”Room clean and cute art on the wall. Pillows were AMAZING!! Bed was comfy. The only drawback to the room we were in (I believe 215) was that it face the hotel sign. So all night long our room was lit up like HIGH NOON!! Another weird thing is check-in is not at this hotel, its at the one a half mile up the road. You also get a sheet of paper here to order your breakfast for each person you are staying with. Hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, the pumpkin bread was yummy, bagels. Then you...

”The room was clean, quiet and walking distance from downtown.”

”Bathroom light didn't work. Bedside light didn't work--had only one prong. There was not a waste basket in the room---had to carry our garbage outside.”

”As others have noted, this is an older motel that’s been nicely upgraded and made unique. We stayed in the Under The Sea room (#2). It’s small, but I’ve seen smaller in boutique hotels in NY. The bed and pillows are comfy, there’s great amenities (Keurig coffee maker, etc.), and it’s not too noisy. No AC, but there is a small fan, and the windows have screens. For us, it was a nice overnight stop on our way to the Redwoods from Seattle. Would definitely stay again.”
