”The food in the restaurant was first class and the staff were friendly and always helpful”

”The property is in a nice quiet area with plenty of parking. There is also a bus stop right outside. Our room was great with a great view of the valley. I think the stay is good for a relaxing evening with lots to do in the property and around. They have some vegetarian options in the menu as well. They have spa treatments that are advertised for 7 days a week, but don’t seem to operate on Sundays or Mondays, which is bad if you’re planning to spend the weekend there. Not the property if you...

”A1. Very good.”

”The toilet was very small which was difficult for us but otherwise everything was good. Breakfast was delicious and the room was perfectly clean.”

”Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Property is in need of some TLC, and could be an excellent venue. Gardens in need of de-weeding and some cutting back on trees, brambles etc.”

”A beautiful setting. The parkland with peacocks and chickens was great to walk around with our dog. Rooms spacious and clean with good facilities and restaurant food excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful - a great place to stay especially as a base for walking/visiting the Lake Distrct.”

”Lovely hotel, clean comfortable room all be it a bit small even though it was described as a cosy double it was small, ok for a 2 night stay but would not be ideal for longer. Air conditioned was a bonus Breakfast was excellent both mornings.”

”The beach view was amazing to wake up to. Wish the beds were bigger. For the size of the room I could understand why a full was used. Bathroom was really nice and was just remodeled.”

”Comfortable, clean caravan. Beautiful view over looking the lake. ”

”They don't have a car park but there is a pay and display not far away. They don't do breakfast.”

”Excellent room; responsive staff is committed to service. Use driveway to the LEFT (downhill) of the house. Parking can be tricky in small lot, but help is available. Phone is needed for initial entry if staff is off-site (room key is in lock box and a phone call provides the code). I had a very happy and comfortable stay.”

”We have stayed here three times now & love the friendly homely atmosphere. The apartment is perfect for me & my son and he loves the swimming pool! The gym has plenty of equipment & my treadmill faces a field of cows & the odd pig which was lovely! Will definitely be staying again”

”Spent one night in the hotel. The hotel is situated by a lake and the surroundings are pretty. We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgrated for a better room. The room was AMAZING: big, clean, had a luxury feel to it and lovely view to the lake. The cooked breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. Only downside was that there was no dinner served. Would love to stay in this hotel again :)”
