”Great location in town centre. Stay spoiled by sewer odour in bathroom that couldn’t be disguised by the scented bottle they put in there. Property also didn’t reply to an email I sent about an item I left behind in the room.”

”Our room, on the first floor, was excellent with lovely views. The food was of a high quality and the service was very good except on one of our three evenings when we were forgotten about and it took at least three complaints to get our meal started. On this occasion we were in the restaurant for about two hours and it took 45 minutes before we got our starter. This was a shame because otherwise everything was perfect.”

”Loud noise and vibration from something. No one in reception as stated but dailing 0 in information pack did not work and emergency number went unanswered after trying for a few minutes and all I got was a sorry.”

”Was an older style hotel staff were friendly enough but place could do with a lick of paint. Food was ok served in the bar area. My room looked out over a roof with two boiler vents so window handle had been removed (for good reason as one does not want to be breathing those fumes even if it is mostly steam) but meant no fresh air. bed was comfy and room was spacious enough. ”

”Rooms were comfortable. Good beds and duvets. Wonderful view! Staff were very approachable and pleasant. The breakfasts were good apart from the last day when no hot breakfasts available. We enjoyed a very nice evening meal but were disappointed there was no hot drinks available afterwards. Not easy to park for larger vehicles.”

”Lovely place to stay, property was well equipped, staff were very friendly. we stayed in a self catering property which was lovely , had some areas that could go with a lick of paint but was really nice . I would stay again ”
