”This is a beautiful villa in a gated property. It is quiet and relaxing. The hosts are excellent and the onsite staff are kind and courteous. We managed to arrange several excursion to see much of the Sacred Valley from this central location. The market in town is about 25 minute walk and worth the trip.”

”Tambo del Arriero is a wonderful boutique base in Cusco. The restored 17th-century courtyard is quiet and beautiful, offering a warm escape from the busy streets. The Superior Double was cozy and well-heated for cold Andean nights, with comfortable bedding and a hot shower with great water pressure. The staff is exceptionally kind, providing 24/7 complimentary coca tea (a lifesaver for the altitude) and securely storing our bags while we traveled out to the Sacred Valley.

”The room has spider webs and the bed was very unconditioned. The lady in charge of breakfast was very rude.”

”Every staff member was perfect. Even the airport shuttle driver…he was standing in the rain late at night waiting for me with a big smile on his face. Front Desk personnel were lovely and friendly. Breakfast room hostess was smiling, friendly and helpful.
I wouldn’t say there was anything spectacularly special about the rooms but mine was spotless. I didn’t notice anything to indicate the room was tired.
Breakfast options were extremely plentiful. I believe there’s plenty to keep everyone...

”My favorite hotel experience of our entire Peru trip. I highly recommend Melissa Wasi! The locale was amazing. The view of the mountains, the flowers around the hotel, the friendly dogs on premises, everything was magical. I did not want to leave! It was a chilly night when we were there, but firewood was right outside our door and the fire kept us warm and cozy. The owners were amazing people and helped us in any way we asked. We were there the night that Peru played Brazil in the final...
