The blip was i booked a two night stay as a surprise for our wedding anniversary and my wife finishing her twelfth cancer treatment, we were booked in for monday the 1st till wensday 3rd September, on the Monday we wanted to eat in the restaurant for our Anniversary after ordering our meals the fire Alarm went of so was told to leave then told it was a false...

”Lovely place, service was authentic and very friendly. Would have helped to have parking instructions beforehand, but they handled it perfectly as well at the location. Breakfast was good and the location was convenient for exploring the Peak district.”

”Lovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire.”

”Check in was great as the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was good, nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice with a good selection. The hotel is well located in a quiet area and only a ten minute walk to the restaurants, theatre and Pavilion Gardens.”

”Warm welcome with lovely staff who never seemed to sleep(!) but always served with a smile. The menu had a good selection of dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed the homemade food which was tasty and generous in portion size. The spiced plum crumble was amazing and we were told they were homegrown plums! The room was lovely and exactly what we wanted. Everything was clean and neat. We loved our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended. ”
