”The historic building was so cool! They still had the old elevator call buttons and mail shoot and many other details. The room was nice and clean and smelled fresh. This room was available at the same price point as the cheap motels/hotels nearby and was a much better experience than the other nearby hotel we had stayed in the day before. ”

”Amnicon was great! They think of everything to make your stay perfect. Sunset was so cute and absolutely perfect for a weekend away. Even though there were other people staying on the property I felt secluded and as if I had the place to myself. I highly recommend Amnicon and look forward to coming back again in the future.”

”Clean modern cabin with all the little things you need. The kitchen area has enough appliances to make meals, and there is a vacuum and fan in the living area. The peace and quiet was amazing and took a little time for this city girl to get used to. I ran into deer just hanging out on the trail to my cabin. I will recommend to anyone who wants to go about 50% rustic, with a cabin with electricity, but can live without full plumbing.”

”It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! We stayed at Solitude which is down a slope so just make sure you have no physical limitations with incline/declines. Showers are in the main lodge. Always had hot water and never a wait for the...

”Cozy little cabin. The fridge was dirty and we had to empty the bucket under the sink but those were the only issues. Beautiful area for walking. We loved the beach. Definitely going back next year.”
