”Breakfast was, indeed excellent. The room was tiny and un-airconditioned, but the mattresses were good and the shower hot and strong in the similarly tiny bathroom.”

”First off, the food was wonderful. We ate in the steak restaurant onsite the evening of our arrival and our meals were truly delicious. The included breakfast was also splendid. The reason I gave the hotel a “good” rating is because our room was not what I expected. It was clean and the amenities were good, but it was small - on the top floor with smallish windows. It seemed like it should be a room for singles, not two people. And while the bed was comfortable, the furniture honestly...

”Room cleaned but had very old smell. Construction sound outside (they can't help it but just be aware) I plugged in my laptop and it blew the fuse in the room. Parking is pricy as is the restaurant but still nice to have. Staff, fantastic - no notes.”

”Onhan vahna ja hieno hotelli päästetty huonoon kuntoon. Kaksi vuotta sitten sama eikä oltu tehty mitään. Kylpyhuoneen pistorasia oli irti eikä antanut sähkö kuin pätkittäin. Lattiat nasirivat, viemärit eivät vetäneet ja jos veti niin lavuaarin vesi pulpahti ammeeseen kaikkine hiekkoineen. Sänky oli kauhea.”

”Hotel was clean and nicely located to visit the Open golfcourses just 20 min drive south. Price and quality was superb. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was good and cheap. Highly recommend!”

”Parked right outside entrance in semi private parking, very easy registration, room spacious,clean, blackout curtains, and bathroom with wonderful big tub!!! Great Bombay Saturday dinner selection - what a lovely extra surprise. Lovely, attentive and efficient staff, every one, from chefs to reception. Peaceful landscaped grounds for refreshing wander after long drive. Superb value breakfast. Highly recommend.”

”Great location right on Deal beachfront. We were on the ground floor Addelam Suite. Large room, very comfortable bed, and we had a great night of sleep - no noise from the road / being on the ground floor. Lovely deocration. Plenty of places to eat / grab a coffee nearby.”

”The family room was a good size and clean unfortunately the double bed had a dreadful squeak at every movement! However for one nights stay it was absolutely fine. I needed to wash and sterilise some baby bottles and despite it being 10pm the staff were very helpful and came back to give me access to the kitchen and microwave ( which again was very clean and tidy) we left too early for breakfast but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for an overnight stop”

”We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire.”
