”Bright and cosy stay in a one bed flat in a small terraced house. Lively high ceilings and view to the sea through the baw windows. It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate. Good prices, excellent communication, on-street parking and short stroll to the beach. ”

”We needed a place to stay for the whole family and had a room with 5 beds facing the sea. Check in worked fine, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pubs and shops in walking distance, will stay again if passing through again.”

Hotellin vastaanottohenkilökunta oli erittäin mukava ja palvelualtis. Aamiainen oli tyypillinen Holiday Inn Express aamiainen eli ei sinällään kovin monipuolinen, mutta perustarpeet täyttävä. ”Based on the property description, I was expecting something different. It is a room in an old house. The proprietor was kind, helpful, and accommodating. It was enough for one night and the price was right, but I likely wouldn't return. We had problems with the WC. The location was good, close to the train station and walkable distance to the seaside and city center. If you have an allergy to dogs, pass on this. ”Loved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. Great work by the hotel owners - shows you can run an historic hotel in a great location but still make it affordable to all visitors”

”Hotel was clean and nicely located to visit the Open golfcourses just 20 min drive south. Price and quality was superb. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was good and cheap. Highly recommend!”

”Great stay in friendly place run by Sharon and Vaughan. Spacious and light room, proper bathroom. Good location with short walk to the castle and a tad longer to the cliffs. Food, pubs and a minimarket within walking distance. The best part, though, is probably the hearty full English breakfast which is served with music perfectly fitting the historic era that we were there for - the fourties and WWII! Thank you kindly, we enjoyed totally!”
