”This property is showing its age but the staff are doing a great job of keeping it clean and functioning. Every staff member went over and beyond to make it feel like “coming home”. The two front people, Connie and David were exceptional. We met the manager in the morning and she was wonderful as well. Would highly recommend this property based on staff alone but the cleanliness of everything made it perfect. The king bed was very comfortable and water pressure in shower was great.”

Upon check-in, the front desk agent handed me our keys for the 5th floor and immediately lectured me about keeping my five well-behaved children quiet so they wouldn't disturb the rooms below. ”The hotel has seen better days, but is not awful. It is good place to spend a few days in the area. Solid three to four stars IF you stay on the ground floor. Ask for Ms. Tasha at the front desk, as she is absolutely EXCELLENT at her job! Tasha is professional and extremely helpful. She also knows the Rocky Mount area, so she can recommend great places to eat. The Waffle House right next door is good! Make sure Jahvon is on the grill. That fella can make a great steak omelet!”
