”The property is really run down and in need of updating. The staff tried to overcome the obstacles they are stuck with in regards to the hotel condition. Check in is at 3pm, we arrived at 7:30 and our room had not been cleaned yet and we had to wait an additional hour before we could get in. The key card lock on our door would not work and we had to have the front desk let us in 3 separate times. The show was never hot and was luke warm at best, the fsucet on the sink did not have cold water...

”Communication was great, parking was easy, we stayed for a couple nights for our anniversary, the cottage and it's amenities were incredibly convenient. Being in Spearfish also makes it very easy to go to local restaurants/shops or visit the nearby towns.”

”First room was dirty. Found a broken pill on the floor. Second room was not much better- it came complete with chewed gum stuck to a picture on the wall. By this time it was 2am and we just needed sleep. That gum stared at me all night. ”

”Room was great for our trip. Ground floor pets. Easy in and out for check in and out.
Front desk staff was kind, informative and quick. The indoor pool wasn't the warmest but it's shape and style was very unique. Free on site laundry with nice washers and dryers was incredibly helpful after our long trip. AC could use an upgrade and filter needed replaced. Still worked well enough though. The little quirks were cute; colored trash bags, shapes and style of furniture. In the front office there...
