”First they checked us in and when we got to our room and there was other peoples luggage’s in the room. Then they put us in the older side which reminded me of a hospital bed and bathroom. The shades were old school and it was daylight all night in our room. The place was so crowded with all the tour buses that always stay there. I’ve stayed there before and it wasn’t as bad but will not stay there again”

”Very nice and clean rooms located in a great part of downtown. It’s the perfect basecamp and easy to get in and out of (whether exploring the city on foot or trekking out to Denali, etc.). We will def. be staying here again in the future!”

”I’ve seen this place and never thought too much about it. Wow, was I wrong. Great place, location (for me), and the price can’t be beat. Also, it’s more quiet than the other hotels in Fairbanks. Yes, I know.”

”Breakfast was dry cereal, bagels cream cheese and yogurt. More protein options would be a great addition ”

”It gave us a place to sleep. Room was 1/2 the size it appeared to be in the pictures. Continental breakfast was cold muffins, bagels, croissants, granola bars, yogurt and packaged hard boiled eggs. Office was closed twice due to under staffing. If we ever return to Fairbanks we won’t stay here.”

”Nice property. Very convenient location. Clean room/excellent housekeeping. Good restaurant choices & a beautiful outside patio. Friendly staff. Had a little glitch at check in but it all worked out. Not a fan of them delivering luggage because it took several hours for ours to arrive & also had to have it ready 3 hours before departure....both of which were inconvenient.”

”We were a little disappointed in the building and some features. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a barbecue going on the afternoon when we arrived and it was rather chaotic. The coffee pot did not work in the room but was replaced when we went down to desk ( once to report and second to determine if a replacement was available/ coming). We had to ask for linen and did not get new bedding the 3days/4 nites we stayed ( maybe this is the norm now?). The breakfast was bland and did...

”The place was fine, the staff was excellent. But the only reason I made the reservation was a belated Mother’s Day for my Mom and she wanted a pool and hot tub. So when it wasn’t working when we wanted to use it, we were very disappointed . I know these things can’t be helped usually but it would’ve been nice to have been offered a discount or refund d so we could’ve gone somewhere else. The price of this hotel was substantially more than many others I could’ve booked. But the staff was...

”The hotel looks old. Bathtub has a broken faucet that is terribly hard to turn off. No fridge in the room. The room is clean and they kept windows open whenever they can so the air is fresh inside. Parking is hard to find especially during the weekend. ”
