”Visiting Chena Hot Springs Resort is a truly unique Alaskan experience, located about a 1.5-hour drive from Fairbanks. While it offers memorable family-friendly activities, careful planning is required—especially regarding transportation and supplies. Highlights & Family Activities Aurora Ice Museum: A fantastic, one-of-a-kind family activity. Exploring the stunning ice sculptures is a must-do while you are here. Natural Hot Springs: A wonderfully relaxing experience for adults (note that the...

”Setting aside the fact that we were thrilled and lucky to enjoy a spectacular northern lights show during our stay, Borealis Basecamp was a wonderful brief getaway experience. The facility has provided just enough extra activities (not a price bargain by any means, but probably comparable to similar venues) to keep you physically engaged during daylight hours. However, for those who have mobility issues, particularly back injuries, you'll need to make yourself cozy in the reception or...

”Close to airport, awesome shuttle service. Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast was okay; weekday was better. Much of the food was not stocked and breakfast area could have been better maintained. Property is needing some refreshing. But rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.”

”We absolutely loved it..it was quiet..peaceful..and we loved Kevin the caretaker. He kept it spotless inside. Kept snow and ice off entry way. The rooms are large the common area is huge with an unbelievable view. We plan on returning next year. Thank you for the experience”

”Its one of best stays ive ever had”

”Breakfast you have take in another building 3 or 4 block away from you no way , building doesn't have elevator,”

”Everything is great.”

”We stayed a week here. Everything was clean. Staff was super nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!!”

”The pool was closed and the water pressure in the room was terrible, with not much hot water.”

”All the hotel staff were kind and friendly. I had some questions about the amenities in the hotel room, so I went to the front desk a few times to ask, and everyone explained everything to me very politely. When I told them I didn't know how to turn on the hot water in the bathtub, a maintenance technician came up to my room to show me how, and since part of the bathroom fixture was broken, he fixed it right then and there. The room had a kitchen (with a microwave, fridge-freezer, stovetop,...
