”We needed a New Year's escape to rest and reset after a busy year and this log cabin was exactly what we needed. We had a great stay from start to finish, enjoyed the beautiful garden surroundings, had a great pub lunch & enjoyed breakfast after checking out at the local bakery. Great hosts, great location, great cabin.”

”We had a really comfortable stay - 5 adults and 4 dogs (by special arrangement). Plenty of room for us all, and made even better by some mainly fine weather so we sat in the lovely garden much of the time. We dined at the Miners Arms and had a friendly welcome and great food. The house really is appointed nicely with no expense spared on the furnishings and fittings. The bed linen, carpets and towels were all luxurious. A few really tiny things let it down and may help others - lack of any oven...

"I had a great stay! The hotel building and atmosphere were truly amazing. The bedrooms from 12-17 got quite warm due to poor ventilation in the hallways, so that's something to be aware of. The gym was decent and the sauna, pool, and jacuzzi were a nice bonus. The breakfast was excellent, though the internet connection was a bit spotty. Despite a few minor issues, I would definitely stay here again."
