”Undergoing renovation that intruded on the experience all the time. The price was discounted, though. It really needed updating. The beds were too soft and lumpy, and conveniences were either lacking (no pens/note pads in the room), not working (hair dryer), or unpleasant (very low water flow). Dining was closed except for the buffet hot breakfast, but it was mediocre. Free garage parking is a plus. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked. OK as a place to stay for a few days; hopefully...

”Don't judge a book by it's cover !! At first glance the facility isn't impressive, but inside you will find very clean, comfortable, up to date accommodations. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast had a nice selection. The typical waffle machine; bagels; a couple cereal choices; blueberry mini-muffins; orange juice; coffee.”

”We enjoyed our stay! The room was comfortable, clean and close to Buffalo trace and Woodford distilleries. Lots of options for dining close by. Breakfast was good.”

”Website said indoor pool and that implies it is working. When we got to hotel, it was a nonfunctional outdoor pool and the employee did not care at all and said she just came to work and left when shift over and she did not deal with pool. Terrible. The checkin in area is a dump. Breakfast had no fruit and the least I have ever seen for any complimentary breakfast. The area around hotel is completely empty broken parking lots and a shut down restaurant, no green space, in a deserted parking...

”Room was clean-ish. Getting to the room was incredibly interesting. We shared a wall with the kitchen which made for early morning. There was also junk at the door way between our corridor. Small things like no body mirrors, limited outlets, only one nightstand made the stay nor as enjoyable. Loved the vintage vibe and the styling of the hotel and the location”

”The St. Clair in Frankfort is a charming boutique stay in a beautifully restored historic building, with loft-style studios full of character, an easy walk to downtown restaurants, and a convenient drive to nearby bourbon distilleries and Churchill Downs. There’s even a hidden speakeasy on-site, if you can solve the riddle to get in! Just know that, as with many historic loft properties, you may hear some noise from guests staying above you.”

”We enjoyed out stay, however, there was an issue with the Hot Water. My granddaughter's water turned cold before she got her bath completed and then the same thing happened the next day when she took her shower. My daughter also did not have hot enough water for her shower. You need to check the hot water heater. We will be returning in November and would like to book this unit once again if that has been corrected. We come to Frankfort several times a year for a weekend horse show at...
