”Very nice quiet cottage right on the lake. Checking in easy, cottage is lovely. The only thing to be aware of, the shower in cottage 17 is tiny. I am a petite 5'3" women, and was barely able to fit in. I understand there are bigger cottages there. Be prepared. Host, David, is lovely and gave us very good pointers on nearby sightseeing.”

”This could be a top-rated stay but there are a few major negatives.Pros: The listing in terms of the site and access to water is accurate. The area is beautiful! And there is plenty of room for 4 adults to move around in comfort. The back porch is nice and there is a sizeable back yard for those who bring dogs. The beach is steps away from the house and we enjoyed swimming there. Cons: Firstly, the listing states that water is drawn from the lake. We have stayed at other places which do the same...

”Our stay in June 2026 in Don and Perky's guest house was exactly what we needed. The house was quiet, lovely, clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and nicely situated close to walking and biking in the area! We brought our bikes and biked a couple of the rail trails in the area, and walked 3 miles daily to take in the spectacular scenery right in the neighborhood. Don and Perky are wonderful hosts. We highly recommend staying here.”
