”Extremely disappointing experience. The place was dirty and poorly maintained, the furniture was broken, the toilet and AC did not work properly, and the amenities were in terrible condition. We also had a very upsetting privacy issue during our stay. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place.”

”Unless you really need a place to stay in Haliburton, avoid this place. This 'resort and conference centre' appears to be abandon - the grounds are over-grown and looks like a post-apocalyptic film set. When I booked the room through Expedia, the property sent me a note stating that the outdoor pool and the restaurant were closed, and the cable TV was down. They claimed 'they were busy working on restoring it.' I thought that meant the power went down briefly, not 'we haven't had those services...

”We stayed in the Dome and had a fantastic weekend. The Dome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Harsha our host went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and special as possible. The hotel is in a beautiful location near lots of nice restaurants and hiking trails. As a bonus lots of very tame deer like to walk around the hotel which is great for photo opportunities. We will definitely return here!”

”Beautiful setting and lovely accommodations. I loved that they provided life jackets and free use of kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. The kids loved the field to play games and the dock on the water was great for jumping into the lake. The frog pad was a big hit and kept them occupied! The fire in the evening was great, even though we had to put the kids to bed and didn't get to spend much time there. We did not use the restaurant, but maybe next time! We plan to return.”

”We were unfamiliar with the Haliburton Post House and booked two nights , mid week, on a whim to get out of town. The room was beautiful, the food and wine selection was great. We took advantage of their waterfront and toys on what may have been the hottest day of the year. Thanks to the staff who made us feel welcome and were the highlight of our stay.”
