Requested the staff to move us to different room but instead of moving us they sent the maintenance crew which tried to fix the problem until midnight and was a big impingement on the privacy. My kid loved it, only way I could afford it as a single Parent was doing the time share tour, didn’t realize I was going into a pond full of sharks..worth my 2 1/2 hours I think. Saved me $300. ”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...

”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”The property was perfectly located , a walk away to the main strip of restaurants . The property was updated recently but the rooms are still outdated but they did the job for the stay . They offer coffee in the morning for free but also have this cute coffee truck outside if you prefer different coffees . Pool area was good . Water refilling stations were useful , but one was out of service .”

”We were situated in the older tower, but had a great view of bay. It was more difficult to find and navigate to hotel restaurant due to lack of any signage, and that our more obvious route was outside. Hilo is, after all, the rainiest city on the planet. Took us a wet try, and getting info to "maze" back to the older tower from restaurant staff. We suggest better signage, or info in room. The restaurant staff was okay...clearly overworked and understaffed. Front desk was adequate, but did...

”Our 1st evening, we had some problems with getting food. The poolside restaurant had to close early and the bar restaurant ran out of pizza. I’m sure it was an unusual problem, but we didn’t have dinner that night coming in from a long travel day from Texas. All other meals were great, especially breakfast buffet which was outstanding.”

”We spent 2 weeks at the apartment. Very comfortable, offer free amenities ie laundry detergent, dish soap etc. our apartment over look the golf course so it's quiet . Some of the towels are not as cleaned . Shower works well but the bathroom sink water pressure is a little weak . Our master bedroom TV has no connection . But overall we enjoyed our stay . Location is very convenient, has everything close by . Would not mind to stay there again .”
