”I hate to give bad reviews! But sorry, this is not a 4-star hotel. The room was dirty, and they didn't clean it until you went and told them the towels were stained, which I didn’t do. I just got out of the shower and grabbed a towel, but it was stained. The room was dirty. The carpet had a dirt stain, and the situation was horrible. If you really have to be in that area, yeah, that’s a great hotel for a few nights, like one, max two. There is no safe, no closet, and no mini bar, so I don’t...

”Hieno rakennus, huoneet aikansa eläneet, huonepalvelu todella hidas. Aamiainen hyvä samoin ruoka, tarjoilijat tympeitä. Hyvä golfkenttä mutta kallis.”

”Cheap, functional. £5 to park in the carpark of the Motorway services. Breakfast is from the Motorway services and as a result there is a small choice.”

”Siisti hotelli, hyvin siivottu. Huoneen seinässä kaapin päällä jotain mustaa mahdollisesti hometta. ”

”Room was clean but whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s a shame because the rooms are letting down the hotel as the rest of the hotel is very nice and it could be a top spot to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds were stunning! Food was also great but more on the expensive side. I had the burger on the menu (£18) it did come with chips and was tasty! Good place to stay if you want a short stay but it could do with some TLC”

”On arrival they told me we couldn't dine there that night. I pointed out that I didn't travel hours to a remote hotel just to sleep there. I asked to see the manager and was about to demand a refund when they decided I could be squeezed in. This was at 3 PM not last minute (dinner was set for 7.30 pm), The receptionist was initially unhelpful and initially said we could eat in the bar. She also claimed the menu was the same (it was not).
A terrible first impression and I was tempted to just...
