”A beautiful resort complex, the mini homes are spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The full board option was a good choice with breakfast lunch and dinner being a broad array for the buffet with differing choices each day with some staples remaining consistent. The chefs were kind enough to do hoppers in a way that I wanted that was fresh. The pool was closed at the time for maintenance, however you could use the sister hotel’s pool which was a 10min walk away....

”Hotellialue oli hurmaava monine eläimineen - apinoita, varaaneja, oravia, gekkoja... Aikaa pystyi viettämään ihan vain kävelemällä ympäriinsä. Myös allasalueella oli mukava loikoilla. Huoneet olivat siistit ja henkilökunta oli kaikkialla mielettömän ystävällistä.”

”Unser Aufenthalt im Gabaa Resort & Spa war rundum erholsam. Schon bei der Ankunft (sehr spät abends) fühlten wir uns dank der entspannten Atmosphäre und der warmen Begrüßung sofort willkommen. Unser Cabana-Zimmer war geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr privat – perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Personal war immer freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. ”Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely.”

”Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens...

”Wir waren zu fünft 4 Nächte in dem tollen Resort. Das gebuchte Inserat war irreführend, weshalb wir ein zu kleines Haus gebucht hatten. Die Gastgeber haben super reagiert und uns ein weiteres Apartment auf dem Nachbargrundstück zur Verfügung gestellt. Alternativ hätten wir ein Zustellbett ins Haus bekommen. Die Spitzdachhäuser bestehen aus einem großen Schlafzimmer mit zwei sehr großen Doppelbetten und jeweils einer gemütlichen Bettdecke. Aus unserer Sicht können keine drei Personen (Erwachsene)...

”Such a beautiful gem! The manager was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were cosy, and the food was absolutely amazing- one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it truly lived up to our expectations. Just a small heads-up: the rooms didn’t come with toiletries, so make sure to bring your own. Would definitely recommend! So glad we stayed here. ”

”Poor location. Manager speaks no English. The rooms he gave us were not ready -- no electricity. Contrary to the ads, there is no wifi or breakfast. The good news is that the owner agreed to drop one night of our reservation as well as reducing the price”

”Séjour reposant dans un cadre calme avec une belle chambre et une piscine. Un service appréciable à toute heure de la journée et aux petits soins. Hotel, facile d’accès, cependant si vous n’avez pas le chauffeur privé, il peut être difficile de trouver un tuktuk pour la nuit du aux éléphants dans cette zone.”
