”Upon arrival front desk reception was abrupt and businesslike. The following morning we reported that the shower wall had a number of long, black hairs plastered to it. We also mentioned that the soap plunger was hardly working. The main desk person was sympathetic and asked when we would be out of our room for the day. When we returned, a portion of the shower hairs still remained on the wall. The soap plunger wasn’t touched. A number of employees offered friendly service. A beautiful, old...

”We really enjoyed our stay at the Lightwell. The spa is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean. We also loved that there is a lounge, a rooftop bar, and the hotel is conveniently located. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than usual and there are no refrigerators in the rooms. But this is our new favorite place to stay in Hood River!”

”Parking sucked we could haedly get my small suv in-between the 2 cars parked there at our cabin, the 2 cabins on either side had prople living in them full time it looked like and both where loud and playing music tell about 3 am .just over all felt sketchy ”

The rooms are absolutely stunning and one of a kind down to every little detail! We really appreciated the extra touch they added by going above and beyond with amenities like snacks, beverages, and toiletries. I can’t wait to come back!! ”

”Beautiful little cottage. The only suggestion is to refine the check in process. Through Expedia I did not get the message to contact us we were checking in after 7pm. Expedia also did not provide my number for them to contact me. He charged my card without contacting me. Despite this the stay was good. ”
