”Having booked last minute I hadn't realised I had booked an upstairs room as someone who uses crutches this was soon changed to a down stairs room , bed linen all clean, lovely white fluffy towels , toiletries , tea , coffee, milk etc .
After a long drive and arriving at 8.30 pm ISH there was still plenty of spaces , yes there is a little noise from the main road but it didn't affect me too much. A continental breakfast was included there was various cereals, jugs of milk and orange juice,...

”Amazing hotel in all regards. Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely area, nice walks nearby, great hotel rooms and restaurants. Clean, very nicely furnished. Superb service from staff. Great food in the Hancock Kitchen (less formal of the 2 restaurants) - didn’t eat at the more formal one. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for many many years. Encourage anyone to visit.”

”For £70 we wasn’t expecting much but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very friendly atmosphere met some lovely people the room was small but it did the job and breakfast was in with the £70 which you could not fault it was lovely and the landlord was friendly to, so yes a great place to stay ”

”The room was very nice, large flatscreen TV, nice little porch seating area in front of my room. I did not use the pool, but it is heated. There is a train line that goes by that you can hear, but it did not bother me. In addition to a free continental breakfast, they will make to order breakfast, depending on the time for a charge. I had two very minor issues but they were resolved quickly. I would highly recommend this property.”
