”Odd smell in the main spaces my children complained about, bare bones breakfast (but a breakfast nonetheless), easy to get to. Cheapest place I found in a relatively large area. Was fine for a brief late overnight, early start stay.”

”On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the property was well maintained—mostly. On the “needs improvement” side, the hot tub was broken and when we asked a housekeeper about it, she responded “long time”. The breakfast was nicely complete but needs to be replenished in a more timely manner and the tables need to be cleaned more often.”

”This is an absolutely amazing property. The pictures were perfect. The location was perfect. The host, perfect. If youre looking for an adorable cabin right outside an adorable old world town, this is the spot. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you really need. Head into town and get your groceries and firewood at the charming small town grocery store. I will definitely be going back here in the future+ ”

”We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either.”

”The cabin had everything we needed. Wonderful views of the countryside from this secluded location but close enough to everything else to give us opportunities to see other sights around the area. It was nice to come back to the cabin and relax outside by the firepit and enjoy some peace and quiet.”

”We had an amazing stay at Moon River Cabins. It was a very quaint area that was lovely for some peace and quiet. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The outdoor sauna and hot tub were delightful and certainly a highlight. We cannot wait to come back and stay again in the summer.”

”The property was perfect for me and my two kids. We enjoyed the proximity to the State Park and Potters Mill. Check-in was smooth, instructions were clear and we had everything we needed (minus a lighter) but that was a quick fix by taking a short walk to the gas station a couple blocks away. Definitely a cute hole that’s been remodeled and decorated with lots of love. ”

”We would definitely stay here again. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Communication regarding check-in, etc., was fantastic. Great views of the Mississippi River (you can't get much closer than this cabin). Bellevue is a neat little down with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance as are several parks. ”

”Clean. Spacious and exactly what is listed in the description online. The area is perfectly located within walking distance of everything in t and very family friendly. My overall experience with the just Dan was extremely positive and friendly. I had a mix up with my booking dates and he wasn’t able to accommodate my other date and he went out of his way to help find something else in town. Overall really great experience and we were pleasantly happy with the accommodation.”

I was concerned that the neighborood on the dock might be a whoop-it-up loud all-night-long kind of party crowd (and I am VERY boring), but everyone was going-out-of-their way charming and kind. Overall - it was lovely. Highly recommend it. Perfect getaway. ”
