”Had the most amazing 4 night stay at this charming place. Quiet, lots of games at the lobby, always has it to ourselves to add, loved the dining area where it had a microwave-perfect place for eating the food we brought with us, room 6 was absolutely charming, comfy beds! spotless. Our room also had a fridge, microwave and coffee. Loved that we had Sleeping Mtn for our view-our dogs loved looking out the window. Great stay for our doggies too. I would go back. Lots of eating places next...

”Such a peaceful location. Elena, the director was so organized. Checkin was so simple. She made sure we had a nice breakfast even though we were hours ahead of the regular schedule. ”

”The kitchen was fully equipped. We cooked all but one of our evening meals and all necessary pans, plates, etc were easily located. The beds are very comfortable. There is a great big yard which is fenced in, and numerous chairs are available. On the downside, we had our dog with us, but after the first trip outside we saw that there were grass burrs everywhere and she was getting numerous burrs stuck in her paws with each step. The location was perfect, and the view of Sleeping lion mountain was so pristine, I loved waking up to it every morning coffee cup in hand. Even my dog was impressed at the location, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We had such a wonderful stay, I will definitely be booking again soon.”

We spent 3 nights at the property and were very pleased with all the amenities that were available to us such as the kitchen and even down to the shampoo & conditioner available to us. If you want solitude and the quiet of West Texas this is the way to go. Beds were comfortable and air conditioner was much appreciated during our rather warm Christmas. ”The views in this place are incredible, mountains for miles! You can see the sun rise and set from the same comfortable seat. The house is fresh, clean and nicely appointed with a well-stocked kitchen. The host was gracious and kept us informed at all times. And the location is perfect, a relatively short walk to shops and restaurants downtown, and an easy drive to McDonald Observatory. We have stayed many places in Fort Davis over the years and this place is our clear favorite. ”
