”clean room staff was friendly and it was a great stay breakfast was fresh and the bar had a great selection overall it was a 10 out of 10. i would recommend this place to everyone that goes to galena. also it had a shuttle bus from the hotel to main street we had a wonderful time on our 35th anniversary ”

Hotel staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast and the staff member even upgraded us to a room with a hot-tub! (This was GREATLY appreciated after I got us lost on a hike and we ended up walking over 7 miles for 6 hours while birding, and our sore muscles NEEDED that hot soak!) The room was clean and...

”Our room was equipped with everything we needed with extra touches like a corner seating area with floor lamp, bathrobes, a wine bottle opener and mini fridge. The gas fireplace was wonderful on the chilly evenings and morning. The library room on the second floor equipped with water, tea, and coffee ensured we needn’t leave the floor for early morning beverages. Breakfast was amazing! We had to leave before the breakfast service could be ready on our last morning, and the innkeeper provided us...

The breakfast was amazing! Convenient parking in the rear- we walked everywhere and let the car sit during our visit.”

”The place was not kept up. There was no breakfast. The elevator didn’t work. The bathrooms weren’t very clean. Plenty of parking tho!”

”Brian and David are the best friendliest host , they made us feel at home and loved their hospitality. They have maintained this property beautifully till the last corner of the home. We loved our room from hand painted walls to the canopy bed, with a view - brought out the southern charm of the property. The breakfast in a pretty English setup was my favorite. Thank you for serving us with delicious breakfast . We would love to revisit the next time we are in Galena!! ”
